Kanawha Putnam Bicycle Pedestrian Study
The Regional Intergovernmental Council (RIC), the MPO for the Kanawha Valley, initiated a plan to update the comprehensive Bicycle and Pedestrian master plan. The original study was completed around 1980 and while very forward thinking it is none the less outdated. RIC’s intent is to find out where residents are walking and riding now, find out ways to make it safer and put an emphasis on connectivity.
Baker and Associates has been chosen as the consultant for the project. Please look forward to public meetings that will be held this year. Dates and times will be posted. Your input is critical.
