Jason Bossard
Jason Daniel Bossard, 35, of 2039 Stratford Road, Charleston, W.Va., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, in Charleston.
Born in Meadville April 9, 1972, he was a son of Richard Holabaugh and Paula (P.J.) Bossard Holabaugh.
He was a 1990 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School. He was an avid hockey player and a member of the Meadville Bulldog hockey team that won the 1989 state championship. He was a 1995 graduate of Kent State University, where he also played hockey. He was a geologist for Chesapeake Energy and was previously a geologist for Keystone Mudlogging.
His other interests included hiking, cycling, whitewater rafting, music and extensive reading. He was a good family person.
Survivors include his parents of Conneaut Lake; his grandparents, Paul and Mary Bossard of Conneaut Lake; two aunts, Diana Bossard of Conneaut Lake and Amy Owens of Kissimmee, Fla.; an uncle, Jeff Bossard of Meadville; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Holabaugh of Conneaut Lake; a brother, Jeffery C. Holabaugh of Conneaut Lake; and five cousins, Alicia, Katelyn and Alexis Bossard, and Megan and Rebecca Owens.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Dickson Funeral Home, 130 N. Second St., Conneaut Lake.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Watson Run Church, 9985 S. Watson Run Road, Meadville, with the Rev. Russell Hines, United Methodist clergy, officiating.
