Boat and Bike in Holland, Spring 2008

All trips begin and end in Amsterdam.

Dates: April 26 – May 3, 2008 (2 rooms remaining)

       May 3, - 10, 2008 (1 room remaining)

Price: $875/per person per week, based on two per room

(You can go one week or both weeks).

Included: 21 meals, 7 nights in room with private bath on the boat, bike rental, tour guide

Not included: Your flight (you book it), or any soft drinks or alcohol purchased on the boat.

Mileage: Each day we leave the boat at 9 a.m. and cycle leisurely through the Dutch countryside. We meet our boat in our destination city around 4 p.m. We cover between 30 – 50 miles daily. Longer mileage is available. If you don’t want to cycle, you can ride on the boat.

Details: The tour is done in conjunction with Feniks Charter, an experienced bike and boat company located in Amsterdam. This is Janette Heitz’s fifth bike and boat tour and the third with this company. She is an experienced world-wide cyclist who has organized international trips before. Because she is organizing this trip for fun – not profit – and has cut out the middle man, she is able to keep the price low.
